I can see that a lot of media club members enjoy photography, but at the same time, I can also see that a lot of members don't know photography. In this post, I shall teach you the very basics of photography you need to know as an amateur photographer. It is that time of the year again, when the Secondary 4 Executive Committee members pass on the baton to their Secondary 3 counterparts. The Investiture would inaugurate the appointment of a new line of leaders, and also the official stepping down of old leaders. This is the only time all students are seated according to CCA in the Grand Auditorium.
As the old generation of leaders leave Media Club, the new leaders rise in power. Although I am not an EXCO member, I still help out in events. And when I do, I observe that the juniors are often overly reliant on the seniors. A question pops up in my head: What will happen if the upper secondary members, who make up the majority of the CCA, leave?
Yes, our school has a studio. And after three years in this school with too many secret passageways and thrice locked rooms, I entered the studio for the first time. As a member of the Media Club, and a leader of it, no less, you would expect that I have been there, maybe even frequent visits. No such thing, people. The CCHMS Studio is another of the school's hidden treasure chest.
I was invited up there by Jian Wei to do an interview for his Media Studies in Chinese Language project. The main highlight of my visit, however was not the interview, but the equipment in that studio. It's amazing, believe me. |
